| Vision IQ™ has benefited from
its numerous collaborations with researchers in computer vision
and image processing, so it is only logical that we recognize
the people who are contributing to the advancement of these
fields.
Consequently, we have decided to institute, starting this
year, the "Vision IQ Prize" that recognizes significant
work in the areas of computer vision and image processing.
Vision IQ has joined with the prestigious
CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) conference,
which will be held in Kauai next December 11th through the
13th. The Vision IQ Prize 2001 will be awarded for the best
paper chosen by the conference reviewers. The winner or winners
will share a check for $2,500, which will be awarded by a
member of the Vision
IQ scientific committee.
