Vision IQ has created a Scientific Committee that represents the world’s leading experts in the fields of image processing and computer vision. The committee’s charter is to help shape the company’s strategic direction by participating in its research, development, recruiting, and partnership activities. The committee will progressively grow with the addition of other scientists to represent a broad based and international panel of image processing and computer vision experts. Currently, its members include:


Olivier Faugeras

Member of the Institut (Académie des Sciences in France); Director of the Laboratory ROBOVIS at INRIA (France); Adjunct Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, Mass.; renowned expert in the field of computer vision.

Pierre-Louis Lions

Fields Medal Winner in 1994 (the “Nobel Prize” of mathematics); member of the Institut (Académie des Sciences in France); Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique (France); Director of Research at the Université Paris IX (France).
